A lawsuit alleges Twitter made money off of child sexual abuse material of a trafficking victim after the platform refused to take down the explicit content. More specifically, the suit alleges the images and videos were permitted to remain up on the site after a Twitter investigation “didn’t find a violation” of the company’s “policies.”
If Pornhub wanted to be an educational resource, they’d discontinue hosting porn and educate about the harmful effects of porn.
Instead of offering the normal therapeutic massage services, the report details how the illegitimate parlors offer a variety of sexual favors, for a price—everything up to full on intercourse is offered.
The survey also showed that young people are as likely to see online porn accidentally as they are to actively search for it.
“Pornography. That word makes every ounce of my being shudder. I don’t really hate a lot of things, but this, this I hate.”
The younger a male is when he’s exposed to porn, the more likely he’ll see women as objects to control rather than partners to love.
This issue is another sobering reminder that men and boys are sexually abused, too. Tragically, trafficking, exploitation, sexual assault, and rape can and do happen to anyone—regardless of gender.
