SHARE YOUR STORY

As an awareness organization with a global community, we’re always looking to share personal stories of those whose lives have been impacted by pornography and sexual exploitation. While research on porn’s harms is powerful, personal accounts are extremely valuable. They humanize these issues by speaking to the harm that pornography can inflict on real people. Hearing true stories from anti-porn advocates, sexual exploitation survivors, former porn performers, former porn consumers, and porn consumers’ partners, to name a few, helps give more visibility to this issue as a whole.

If your life has been affected by pornography or sexual exploitation and you’re interested in sharing your story, we encourage you to apply to have your story featured in an article, podcast, or in a video.

STORY GUIDELINES:

We love to share as many stories as possible, however, due to a high volume of applications, we’re not able to feature all the stories submitted here or respond to every individual who submits their story. To help get your story featured, we suggest you adhere to these guidelines:

  • As a non-religious and non-legislative organization, we work diligently to ensure our content avoids legislative or religious language. To improve the chances that your story will be considered, please try to avoid including religious or political commentary or language.
  • We’re always looking for diversity in our true stories. In your application, tell us how your story is unique and stands out.
  • Try to be honest and clear about how pornography has affected your life, and how you’re doing now. Having a porn-free life is not a requirement for sharing your story with us. We recognize that some of our followers struggle with an unwanted porn habit—stories from those who are struggling with porn are still powerful and impactful in their own ways. Please feel free to share your story with us if this describes your current experiences.
