I’m a school counselor and think this is the best presentation I have seen for teens.

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!
I’ve struggled with porn addiction since age 12. I’m finally choosing to let my shame go. Porn is very prevalent in Icelandic society, but its negative effects are rarely, if ever, discussed. People view it as perfectly normal. Therapists never mention it as an issue, and I’ve never heard an Icelandic person admit they have a problem with porn, so I felt like I was the only one. Hearing personal accounts from FTND and studying the research has been so refreshing, knowing that I am not alone.
In high school, I gave a speech explaining porn stats I got from your website. The teacher told me afterwards she’d learned a lot and wished everyone in school could hear that message. I think people here would agree, but they just don’t know. So I wanted to thank you, especially for your podcast which has been a way for me to be surrounded by light and strength. You reach far outside the US, and have at least one supporter in Iceland. Much love.
I wrote you in February in the thick of my hurt after my husband came clean about a porn addiction he’s had for seven of the ten years we’ve been together. I was completely shattered and devastated to my core. I’m writing to you today to say how much our lives have changed in the last couple of months. I completely gave up my role of trying to fix him, and I just loved him through it. I saw him for him and not for the porn problem, and now things couldn’t be better between us. He’s sought out accountability weekly, and he’s excited about the future. I don’t feel like I could know my husband better than I do right now. Our communication is raw and honest, but packed with love and fight. I’m falling for him all over again. So thank you for what you do. Thank you for loving us all through this–you are making a difference.
I’m a long-time user of pornography and I know firsthand how destructive its effects are in one’s personal life. I’m deeply changed since abstaining and I would like to do my part to bring awareness to those who are addicted and prevention to young children/adults before they are exposed to it. Thank you for the work that you do! #FTND
Thank you, FTND. Now I’m in this stage where even if I want to watch porn and am all alone, I still don’t watch it. I hate porn now. There are a lot of beautiful things in the world to enjoy besides porn. Now I have bigger goals in my life and I’m working hard to be whatever I always dreamed for myself. Thank you so much for your articles and tweets. Thank you and I love you. Cheers!
I just wanted to say thank you for all the information that this organization is doing against the fight against pornography. I’ve been a porn addict since the age of 9, and am now truly fighting against my addiction 20 years later, through therapy and coaching. Thank you for bringing the awareness of how harmful pornography can be and the dangers of it all. I wish I had this when I was younger before I got engulfed through my addiction.
Thank you guys for all you do! I love the three documentary episodes–they’re so well done and personable. I find most people don’t know the harms of porn because they don’t talk about it. My boyfriend’s porn habit nearly ended our relationship, but we’ve decided to work it out, and he’s getting help with recovery. No one ever talked to him about porn, told him the harms of it, or asked him if he had a problem with it, and I was shocked. I feel like there are so many people who don’t even know what it’s doing to their brains or relationships— it’s heartbreaking! They don’t know all of that, let alone know about the world of sexual exploitation in the porn industry. People need and deserve real love! Thank you so so much for spreading awareness!
