I’m without words. I sobbed. Everything negative that was shared by these individuals in the docuseries is prevalent in my own life. I can’t believe I never realized how much of my life has been wasted watching this. It doesn’t make me happy and hasn’t ever made me feel that way. What will make me happy is finally kicking this habit. I know that to be a fact. I can’t wait to watch the next one.
First, whoever you are, let me express my appreciation for this organization coming into existence. A science-based, non-religious movement is the approach called for. It never occurred to me that I was addicted to porn until I came across FTND videos on YouTube. It prompted me to say out loud to myself and later to a friend that I am a recovering porn addict, and let me tell you, it was a relief! I’ve been "on the wagon" for three months, and I want to stay on it for the rest of my life.
I found porn in an effort to understand what was being done to me. As a 10-year-old boy, I was being molested and raped regularly by my 16-year-old male cousin. I found out later that he was addicted to porn, and that was part of what made him try to act it out on me. I struggled with porn and an unhealthy relationship with sex until my early 20s. I bought my first FTND shirt years ago, and I just joined the Fighter Club. Thank you guys for what you are doing to fight something that fuels sexual abuse and child trafficking and exploitation.
Wow. WOW! I just watched Brain, Heart, World, and I am blown away with gratitude for what you guys are doing. I talk about this organization often and raise awareness as well as I can about you guys and your resources because I am PUMPED about how you are fighting this tragedy that is overtaking the world. I truly think that because of what you beautiful humans are doing, I might get to have a conversation with another person one day who won’t even know what porn is; that is my dream. Thank you for going hard for a good, good thing. Incredible job!
Thank you so much for creating the incredible three-part documentary. Not only did it open my eyes to so many of the impacts of the porn industry, but it has revealed to me how my own behaviors are fuelling and contributing to the problem.
