Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Thank you, I now have an understanding of why porn feels like an addiction even when I stop watching. More importantly, I now have the tools to speak to my children about this destructive material that’s found all over the internet.

As a long-time porn addict, I appreciate the science behind this video. I am also grateful for the courageous young people who have come forward with their stories. Thank you for the work you are doing.

One of the biggest reasons I support Fight the New Drug is because of your basis in science. Having a strong psychological and physiological foundation provides you with credibility. It also makes your message more accessible, no matter the worldview or background. I also appreciate your understanding and support of people suffering from an addiction to pornography. Shaming those struggling isn’t going to help them in their fight to do and be better. Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work!

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thank you so much. I am a 12-year-old kid who has been addicted to porn for over six years. My sister found out and she showed me the Fight the New Drug three-part series. I watched all three episodes and I am no longer watching porn. So I just wanted to thank you, and without you guys, I would still be watching.

This is a great resource—we found it amazing and inspiring and will help a lot of people through their process of fighting porn for themselves.

Every word spoken on the podcast has made me a better person for having listened to it. I’ve consumed pornography since I was a kid, and I’ve been disgusted with it for a very long time but still relapse. Jane Doe’s testimony is maybe the single most motivating thing I’ve encountered in overcoming my “need” for porn.

I wish I had someone to talk to me about that when I was 10. I love what you guys are doing and definitely helped me for the better and I hope you guys keep doing what you’re doing.

I have almost made it 2 weeks since the last time I watched porn. Sometimes it’s challenging to keep myself away from thoughts and memories, but I want to live the life that many people have been experiencing. I was exposed to porn when I was 6 until now at 22, but I want to be totally free. I want to see people, not to see bodies and shapes. I want to thank every single experience people share with you guys, and thank you for doing this for people. Many thanks for inspiring people around the world.

I LOVE YOU GUYS! I’m three days porn-free. Thank you for all you’re doing.

I’m watching this series with my adolescent clients who have engaged in sexual offending. Pornography use can be a major factor. This video was great and helped me to have some bigger discussions with them.

You guys helped me quit porn because you showed me that I wasn’t broken. You showed me that I’m fighting for love and for true intimacy and connection. The information you provide has helped me enlighten others about the dangers of porn. Thank you. Keep fighting. I know that a lot of people like me only lurk around your page, but just know that you are helping people. I know you are because you have helped me. Keep fighting. Fight for love!

Brain, Heart, World was awesome! I took notes while watching, and I just can’t wait to share what I learned with those on my social media so we can ultimately end sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Thanks so much for making this!
