Hi, just wanted to let you know that at midnight, I’ll be seven days porn-free. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone a week without porn, and I’ve had zero urges to do it after doing research on the porn industry and using the resources you suggested. I’m not saying I’m completely in the clear, of course, since it’s been a week, but after only a week of no porn and no shame, I’ve been able to think clearly for the first time, I can feel good emotions again, and every day feels beautiful. If that’s just after a week, I can’t wait to see what’s to come. Thank you.
I just received my “People ≠ Products” shirt and I’m thrilled with it! Thank you also for sending stickers, I’m going to put them on my laptop and water bottle to further rep the movement! Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you do. A lot of people close to me have been affected by porn, so it’s something I’m very passionate about. I appreciate that you’re a non-religious organization so I have a secular, scientific resource to share with people who are skeptical about objecting to porn on moral or religious grounds. I discovered you guys through one of my friends who constantly wears his PKL shirts. He’s had a lot of struggles with porn, but he’s so open about it and has helped so many people! You guys as a community encourage me so much.
Thanks. I have been having setbacks in loneliness, increasing my urges and having to fight a bit more. But this video gave me fuel to keep going and it turned off an urge that has been haunting me today. I just want to say thank you to the people at FTND. I started watching porn at a young age and even got caught multiple times, but couldn’t stop watching it. I realized I was addicted when I was 14, but was never motivated enough to do something about it. Watching your videos on IGTV really helped me find motivation to give up porn. From sex trafficking to how it affects relationships, I realized how much damage I was doing to myself. But after knowing that, I just started feeling bad about myself. That’s when your Brain, Heart, World series came in handy. I was able to see all the people who had struggled with porn and could relate to their stories. I didn’t feel alone anymore. I’m truly inspired by FTND. Thank you so much for taking a stand on this platform. Groups like this are going to change the world.
