I finally told my parents about my porn addiction last night. It had made me depressed and antisocial because I felt like nobody could love me. I thought my parents were going to be disappointed or angry with me, but they were actually really proud of me for coming to them. They didn’t make me feel bad about myself, and were completely loving and understanding. Now we do a weekly phone audit, so they look through my phone and I look through their phones with complete trust. I’m so happy now that I’ve told someone. It was completely consuming me, but it was like a virus that wouldn’t stop. In the end, I couldn’t forgive myself until I told someone and accepted that I had a problem. Thank you for being a source that people like me can come to and feel loved.
Hey fighters! Your articles and mission have been a huge comfort to me and my family lately: my sibling was just incarcerated for possession of underage p*rn. Our community and friends have been so forgiving and gracious to us, and I’m grateful knowing that y’all are out there telling the truth about this addiction too.

Thanks to your website and podcast, I’m able to bring up the negative facts about pornography to people and give them actual accurate information. Rather than just saying, “porn is bad,” like before, I can give people the reasons why! I purposely bring up pornography in normal conversations and I’m not scared to do it cause now I have the actual facts, rather than just my opinion and it’s amazing!
The other day I saw the video with Terry Crews and his “Porn Kills Love” shirt. It has really inspired me. I found you guys and have read your tips on how to keep myself occupied. I’ve had issues with porn since I was 11, and for the past few days, I’ve stayed away from it. And I’ve never felt better in my life. I’ve only been off for 4 days but I’m proud of myself for fighting the urge.
