Giving Tuesday—help more people hear the truth about porn Donate

Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Thank you for speaking out on the facts around this. Most people still don’t understand how porn impacts partners because it’s still so acceptable in our society.

Terry Crews’ video just came across my timeline…at just the right time. It’s been such a stressful day and the temptation was/is so strong. This was just the reminder and renewal I needed to stay strong. Thank you.

The work you do is vital, FTND. Never, never, never stop speaking. Post until everyone on the internet has seen a post. You’re doing a great job. You are important. You are needed. You are appreciated!

“Fight for love.” You have no idea how this phrase is motivating me today. I’ve been struggling for more than 10 years with this addiction and it has been hard, falling again and again and again. But this movement came in a moment of darkness in my life when I thought there was no way out. My relationships were broken: girlfriend, family, and friends—all of them getting away because of my dark secret, and I couldn’t understand exactly why until I found FTND. Then it all made sense and put in me hope. I’m still struggling, but the frequency is less than the past years. I have some dark days, but phrases like “fight for love” give me a goal and remind me how important and special I am. Thanks, FTND!

What this man is talking about is one of the reasons why it is SO IMPORTANT that you continue to post videos as often as possible! By continuing to post videos, you giving sex workers back their humanity and helping porn addicts to nurture feelings of compassion and empathy. The importance of what you do every day cannot be overstressed. Every day that you wake up and go to work you are a hero! Thank you, FTND staff!

Thank you so very much for your podcast and the way you and your guests talk so frankly about their journeys with pornography. My husband has been living porn-free for the past year but struggled to get free for eight months before that. I spoke about our journey at a community event recently and used much of the information that I learned from FTND and from listening to your podcast. I know that pornography is hurting so many families. I really appreciate what you all are doing to help people know the truth. It is helping me to heal from the betrayal trauma. I know it is helping many who have been hurt in a variety of ways.

It is a breath of fresh air to be able to listen and learn about the harmful, toxic effects of pornography from a research and facts-based organization. We need more great people in this world like the folks at FTND. While porn does not always show physical damage on the outside, it produces emotional rifts on the inside.

I just wanted to share that I was able to present to my whole student body about human trafficking, and specifically share about how pornography is connected to sex trafficking. It went well, and some students were really struck by the information about sex trafficking and wanted to change their habits and make a difference. I also received the “Concept in Action Award.” This is an award for a student who embodies the school’s mission. And I wanted to let you know the #NoPornovember Campaign, attending the conference with you all, and just all you do at Fight really inspired all of this for me! Thank you so much!

It is very encouraging to see young people speaking openly about this important topic. Great job, FTND! Keep up the good work–your efforts are vital to the public health and safety!

A very interesting and educational explanation of the negative effects of pornography, which led me to consider the cost of, and why I view pornography. This gives me a good reason and increased desire to stop viewing pornography.
