I (female) was exposed to pornography at a very early age. It definitely warped my understanding of sexuality and intimacy in ways I’m only just realising now (20+ years on).
I agree with the podcast host that the effects of pornography do not discriminate and I am grateful for this channel and its resources. They are helping me unpack how that young exposure fuelled some of my dysfunctional behaviour as I got older.

Honestly, I am so thankful for this channel and all the content put out here! As somebody whose life didn’t surround sex/porn at all, I was devastated to learn how much in real life revolves around it actually and how most of it is hidden behind closed doors. Somebody needs to speak up and I thank you for doing so!
I most enjoyed the hope this documentary gave that my brain can recover from my porn addiction. I’ve read that repeated engagement with porn is like blazing a well-worn path in the brain–a path I wasn’t sure could ever not be frequently walked. But this gave me so much hope. That well-worn path in my brain that’s been blazed by viewing porn can regrow into a field of flowers again, free from the familiarity and grasp of porn. Thank you for this beautiful resource.
This is a scary story. She is such a sweet girl. It is scary what they do. I was addicted to porn for 42 years and it is hard to watch what my addiction did to girls. I am glad she is helping others now. She is made for this. Thanks for posting this interview Mariah is such a gifted speaker

I wish we had this knowledge 30 years ago. My instincts were spot on but I had no evidence to back me up. The evolution of global connectivity turned this industry into a virus. This three-part series is so well done. Kudos! It’s modern, relevant, vulnerable, silly, and lighthearted where appropriate. The last part made me cry. Your research and approach have made it non-threatening to all. I know the hard work put into this on the cinematography and filming alone. I am unraveling my world and healing as we speak.
