Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

I am currently battling this addiction and I struggle to find the words to express my gratitude to everyone who made this documentary, and to everyone who made it available.

I stumbled upon your podcast on Spotify and it blew my mind! I saw porn for the first time when I was 13, and it became an unhealthy coping mechanism that sabotaged my college experience and a few of my relationships. I’ve tried to quit several times for different reasons and with different strategies, but none of them lasted that long. I had been going to therapy for the last year and ironically, I found your podcast just last week. The curriculum that y’all had, combined with my passion for anti-human trafficking, combined with therapy, and figuring out why I turned to porn to destress is LITERALLY rewiring my brain. I will browse the internet and hit mental blockages as I realize that the way my neurons are firing is in an objectifying manner and I’ll close whatever pages I’m on. Thank you for all that you guys are doing!

My boyfriend regularly watched porn, and his expectations of sex were warped because of it. Since quitting, we’ve had a much healthier sex life and relationship in general. Porn kills love. Thank you for fighting against it.

I just wanted to say thank you for your page. It’s helped me heal and have compassion for an ex of mine whereas there used to be anger. I now have the balance of knowing I should keep my distance because what he is facing is bigger than I’m capable of helping him fight and it’s not my battle but also have compassion for him and his struggles instead of anger and resentment. It’s also helping me move toward healing and know that things I went through with him because I didn’t know how to handle it and struggled to stick to my boundaries, don’t define me and my worth as a woman. So thank you ❤️

I really enjoyed the many aspects of Brain, Heart, World, and how it showed that females struggle, too. I did not understand until last year when I was doing my high school senior thesis paper and presentation that women also struggled, which just shows the stigma behind the subject.

Absolutely blown away by Brain, Heart, World! I have been struggling with porn since I was 12, and in the past year, I have been fighting it. This docuseries gave me hope and some ideas of what to do next. I can’t wait to share this with my friends who also struggle! Thank you!

Long story short, when my best friend told me that he’s been struggling to stay away from watching porn, I sent him the FTND documentary, Brain, Heart, World. Because he is a political adviser, educator, and lawyer, he felt disgusted and devastated to learn that porn fuels the demand for human sex trafficking. This was one big reason that made him stop watching porn.

Brain, Heart, World is a really good documentary that made me think. I already made the decision last week to stop watching porn after so many years with many failed attempts. My donation is not going to undo the damage I have contributed to, but I want to be part of turning this around to something good. So please, accept my donation.
