Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

I always look forward to the next podcast of ‘Consider Before Consuming’—this is truly a great initiative. The information, the stories, and the lessons learned here are so helpful. Thank you guys for all that you do!

Amazing first episode. It sparked a lot of thoughts and emotions in my brain. It made me feel refreshed, and that I can eventually overcome my addiction to porn.

This resource has helped me tremendously in breaking my almost every-night porn habit. I have been totally sober for about eight months now and I’ve never been more passionate about spreading the word that porn kills love and letting people know about all the other garbage porn comes along with. So, thank you guys for being so instrumental in this change!

This documentary needs to be shown in ALL schools! Very educational!

Well done. Recently, I’ve learned that someone close to me has been watching porn, and this helped just ease the pain with humor and the comfort of knowing we are not alone in the struggle. There is comfort in the science—it is validating. There is hope in knowing change is possible and can be pretty radical if we are open to the journey. Thank you, all!

I seriously thought I was alone in this journey until I found y’all. I love this community. Thank you so much and keep up the good work. I’m literally just a couple of days into being porn-free but feel so much better having found your community and resources.

Seriously love y’all and your mission so much. I’ll always be a supporter!

Really great for young audiences, but really there is so much here for adults, too. I learned a lot about addiction in general. I wish my family could have seen this when my child was 10, before he became addicted.

Thank you so much, I can’t tell you what a relief it is to see people talking about and doing something about this issue. I used to think I’d live in a world where I was the crazy one for not being okay with porn, and past boyfriends always wanted me to believe that every single guy was that way and I’d just have to get used to it. I saw how much it damaged my relationships, my self-esteem, and the men themselves, and it’s just so great to find your page. Thank you.

I always had the strong feeling that I was alone with this, especially because I’m a woman. But since I started this journey of recovery, I noticed that this is not exclusively a male problem. Girls struggle, too. With a huge amount of courage, I told my best friend about my struggle. She said: “You know what? I don’t care what you’re struggling with. You’re still the same, wonderful person I love so much.” This changed my life. I started to tell more people that I trusted and always got a similar response: we’re in this together.

So to all the Fighters out there, I want to encourage you! Tell someone you trust about your struggle. It will not get better by hiding and shaming yourself. You are powerful and worthy of love! I’m currently still recovering. My journey is not over yet. But I hang in there. I know one day I will be able to say that I beat this. And I can’t wait for this day!
