Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

I’ve been following you guys for years and really appreciate what you do on this channel. Thanks for being a voice of reason through this insanity. Makes me feel less alone in my opinions and thoughts.

I saw your channel come onto my feed for the first time and looking at your videos decided to make this one the first to watch. Thank you for the work you are doing.

Its sad that mainstream media totally ignores the dangers of modern day pornography. Thank you for producing this very valuable podcast.

As a young man who’s currently dealing with a major porn addiction that is causing great distress within my life these videos really open my eyes and realize how disgusting this industry is. This is something I’ve known for a while now though, and it’s even increased my will to quit porn, but it brings more shame to myself as a person who knows what goes on in the industry but decides to put that aside to fulfill my own shamefulness. As of tomorrow, I’m starting my journey to become sober, but this isn’t my first time. Unfortunately, I have failed dozens of other times but this time my will is strong, and I will rebuild myself as a stronger man with self control. I wanna be a better man than most men out there who are addicted to the adult film industry, whether they know the darkness or not. The most important trait an adult can have, but especially a man is self control whether that be sexual desires or anger. I want to be part of the solution instead of the problem. Thank you so much, Fight the New Drug, for opening my eyes even more and give me a stronger willpower to fight this drug and rebuild a new me. Also, thank you for exposing the porn industry for truly what it is. ❤

Cheers to your impressive work! It’s so sad we have sunk so far that we need these conversations but we definitely do.

I really love what you guys are doing here. Pornography really is as much of an addiction problem as drugs or alcohol. It’s kind of a silent killer though. I really appreciate you, thank you for taking the time to study and post ❤️

I’M A FIGHTER!
I recently joined the Fighter Club, the exclusive insiders club for monthly supporters of the organization Fight the New Drug. They sent me this membership coin, some stickers, and an “Impact” book.
This organization means a lot to me and my own personal story with addiction and recovery. I love their mission, their content, and their merch. I love that they are research-based and education-focused.

I thought you might like to know: I got home today after work, and temptation struck. Interestingly, because I had these videos in my Facebook feed, they were fresh in my mind as I wrestled with the temptation.
And they helped me say no . I thought that might encourage you with your work ❤️

New Drug free since 2018 and keeping it that way. This site got me there. Thank you so much for what you do!

I’ve been following FTND for many years now, and I agree that just the posts alone don’t stop the addiction in addicts. But they can help be the beginning for change for an addict, and they especially can potentially prevent someone from becoming an addict in the first place. As someone (female) who was unknowingly addicted to it at age 11, I didnt learn until I was 27 that I was addicted. That’s when I stumbled upon FTND and was educated on my physical and mental symptoms and that porn is linked to human trafficking . I’ve been clean ever since, almost 12 years later. And some symptoms still linger, but I know they will fade with time. And I do my part by sharing information like this to others, to bring awareness and compassion, and educate my own children in age appropriate ways to protect their minds, hearts, and those of others by avoiding such images and videos.
