Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Thank you so much for what you are doing. I’m so genuinely concerned by how my generation’s sex lives are being defined by exploitation in porn and it seems like everyone just wants to ignore it. Thank you for telling the truth!

Not long ago, I broke up with a boy that had been suffering from porn addiction for over 13 years. We broke up because he kept relapsing and the relationship was getting toxic. I’m devastated. I wish porn wasn’t a thing. I wish people would stop supporting this dark business. Your page has brought me hope. Keep up the challenging work. You guys don’t know the impact you have on people.

Being a wife and choosing to fight alongside my husband, who’s celebrating 895 days in recovery, has been the hardest and most rewarding experience of our lives! Through this journey, we’ve celebrated and fought together as accountability partners, best friends, lovers, husband and wife, and now future parents!

We’ve learned so much. First, love can’t be clicked! It’s about real people, real love, and life! It’s about the journey and that we’re stronger fighting together! Also, it’s never going to be easy every day, it might not always be a victory–we are not perfect, and life isn’t perfect. It’s messy but it’s beautiful and it’s so worth it to fight! Consistency, accountability, and knowledge are some huge factors that helped his success along the way. Honestly, we wouldn’t be celebrating here today if it wasn’t for Fight the New Drug. Thank you, thank you, thank you for existing!

FTND was a huge help as I was healing from a breakup with a self-professed porn addict. Your resources helped me to understand what porn was doing to him and to our relationship. My self-esteem suffered greatly while I was with him and after we broke up. But it has since recovered leaps and bounds thanks in large part to FTND. Thanks for doing what you’re doing.

Thanks for what you do, guys! I’ve been free from porn for some time now (thankfully!). Although I struggle with the temptation every now and then, your posts have always helped me overcome it and continue to fight the good fight.

I’m almost 90 days free of porn, and I’m beginning to understand how a healthy relationship just wasn’t possible with porn in my life. So, the greatest experience I have is hope.

I’m on day 24 of no porn after 8 years of struggling with porn. Thanks for doing what you do–keep it up.

Thank you. Thank you for being a voice for this issue. Thank you for calling it what it is: a real issue. Thank you for not making light of it, like it’s a joke, like they do in the movies or on TV. Thank you for telling the truth, for being vulnerable, and for having the courage to say this is a problem. Just THANK YOU!

I just wanted to show my gratitude for this page. I have struggled for many years. I am on my first week of no porn for the first time in 7-8 years. I am in awe of the difference it is making in my life. The heaviness and shame are gone and I am so much happier. Keep exposing the fallacies that are surrounded by porn and do not quit telling the truth!
