Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Recently, I came across FTND via Pinterest. Within the past few months, I experienced some gut-wrenching changes in my life that were due to my significant other’s porn addiction. I went from thinking porn is OK in small amounts and moderation to thinking it’s toxic and needs to be expelled from one’s life as soon as possible. I want to thank the brave people behind FTND. Thank you for being a loud voice for all those that believe porn is not ok at it TRULY does disrupt and destroy love–I am living proof of that.

Finding you guys today makes me feel less alone, especially after finding porn on my boyfriend’s phone. It has absolutely destroyed me. And together as a couple, we are going to try and work out this issue because porn kills love, and I don’t want this obstacle to kill our love.

FTND is so amazing and helpful. Thank you for all you do, especially in educating people. You don’t focus on morality, and you are clear about long-lasting harm to all involved, including viewers.

I’m just here to say thank you for educating people on what they’re consuming. If I hadn’t known about what really goes on in the pornography industry, I wouldn’t be free from it today. We always think it only has an affect on us, but watching porn sets off a whole chain reaction. I’ve been free for probably almost a year—I actually forgot when last I’ve consumed pornography! The. Best. Thing. I. Did. For. Myself. And. The. Whole. World!

This was so awesome! Thank you so much for putting these episodes together. We watched them with our kids and were able to have a great discussion about the harmful effects of porn. Thank you!

As a nurse, I really appreciate the scientific education from experts on the very real damage that porn does to the brain, as well as the hope for healing!

I just wanted to share that I was able to present to my whole student body about human trafficking, and specifically share about how pornography is connected to sex trafficking. It went well, and some students were really struck by the information about sex trafficking and wanted to change their habits and make a difference. I also received the “Concept in Action Award.” This is an award for a student who embodies the school’s mission. And I wanted to let you know the #NoPornovember Campaign, attending the conference with you all, and just all you do at Fight really inspired all of this for me! Thank you so much!

I just wanted to say thank you guys so much for sharing supportive resources. When my boyfriend (now husband) first shared with me about his struggles & setbacks, I felt completely alone. I found ZERO articles or resources for people who felt hurt or betrayed. That search was actually how I discovered your organization. I felt validated in my opposition to porn in a culture that is immersed in it. My husband has not had a setback in 2 years! Thank you so much for providing great resources for not only those who struggle but also for those of us who want to learn to be supportive partners but need time to heal.

I just wanted to thank you for what you do as an organization. It is remarkable and so necessary. Three years ago, I was addicted to pornography. Like, “watching it three times a day” addicted. The results left me numb. Hopeless. And in a lot of ways, it left me lifeless. I’m glad to say that I’m almost two years removed from pornography and married to the girl of my dreams. And I’m able to help my friends do the same. In part, it’s because of what you guys do. You, among other forms of accountability, helped change my perspective and really fight this toxic influence that was in my life. So thank you for that.

I watched porn and it made me feel really uncomfortable, yet a lot of people see it as harmless fun,so I thought I must be a “prude.” Seeing your YouTube videos changed that. I know porn is unhealthy for individuals and society, and people are exploited terribly in the industry. The only people who benefit from this issue are those making money from it. Keep up the good work in creating awareness.
