I think the world needs more podcasts like this. Talking about REAL issues that everyone struggles with. I can only count on one hand how many podcasts I’ve listened to that really go deep into the real issues of porn and the mental, physical, and spiritual impact porn has on men AND women.
First of all, I would like to say thank you to everyone involved. I was introduced to porn in 5th grade by a friend. This was the very beginning of a vice that would consume my life. For the next 9 years of my life porn controlled me. It ruined friendships and relationships with family and destroyed friendships and relationships with most of the women in my life. Porn twisted my idea of love, sex, and intimacy as a whole. I ruined a relationship with a wonderful woman who gave me every chance. I love her more than I love life itself but I hurt her in an inconceivable way because of the normalization of porn in my life for so long. Doing it alone was a struggle but I am proud to say that I am over 3 months clean. I have seen the impact in my day to day life and I can feel the emotional impact this change has caused. Porn numbs your mind to real love and true intimacy. I wish I discovered your page sooner but I cannot say thank you enough. Although I couldn’t save my relationship. I was able to save myself and any future partners. Thank you to everyone involved you guys have impacted my life so much I can barely recognize myself.
I just want to thank you for the dedicated work you are putting in daily. My exposure to porn started before I was a teenager and while I spent much of my high school and college years being open about the struggle and “wanting” to quit, my addiction to it grew inside of my marriage. Instead of dealing with feelings of resentment with my wife, I fled to fantasy in porn and eventually adultery. While I willingly accept total responsibility for my sexual brokenness and all its consequences, it took getting caught five years ago to bring about the seeds of recovery that have really taken deep root. I discovered you on Instagram less than a year ago and have told my recovery group, my new wife, my friends, and anyone who will listen about the quality work you are doing. If only I had known about you eight years ago, even though I was not willing to give up my behavior. Now, more than ever, your facts, research, and movement have done nothing but fill me with hope and gratitude.
Hey! Thanks for this page; it really is helping make a difference in my life. I’ve pretty much struggled with porn most of my life and I never loved it but also never hated it so I just kind of let it go, but after my friend suggested this page to me, I started to see how much porn actually affects my own life and relationships with people. I’ve now developed hate for what porn does and for what it is! So, thank you!
Hi, my son is a sophomore in high school and your videos were shown in his health class. He came to me and his dad asking for help. I am now working on getting him counseling. I watched this whole series after he recommended it. You guys are doing amazing work and I’m really grateful for the way you’re helping address porn addiction.
