Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

FTND has opened our eyes to a problem that is only getting worse! Pornography is no laughing matter. It is breaking up families, shaming men and women across the board. FTND has opened a topic that NEEDS to be discussed with the youth of today. We have been able to have open, healthy talks with our own kids about pornography. Thanks to FTND we can talk to our daughters, their husbands, and our son openly about how destructive pornography is. Thanks, FTND! You have opened our eyes, and strengthened our relationship with our kids!

So thankful for you guys. I got clean on July 14, 2012. Basically memorized your site to help me stay clean. Now I’m trying to raise awareness, and your podcasts have been invaluable.

Hey guys! Whoever is behind this movement, I LOVE YOU! I’m currently writing my research paper on the negative effects porn has on mental health, brain health, and function, and its link to sex trafficking! Finding your page has been amazing, and the ability I have to promote your brand and the information you give on my stories is something I love. I can’t wait to get my shirt in the mail and promote you guys on both Instagram and the streets! Keep doing what you’re doing!!!

I wish we had this knowledge 30 years ago. My instincts were spot on but I had no evidence to back me up. The evolution of global connectivity turned this industry into a virus. This three-part series is so well done. Kudos! It’s modern, relevant, vulnerable, silly, and lighthearted where appropriate. The last part made me cry. Your research and approach have made it non-threatening to all. I know the hard work put into this on the cinematography and filming alone. I am unraveling my world and healing as we speak. Your website is very profound. Thank you.

Beautiful testimonial! Thank you, Ore, for your bravery and for your dedication to being a part of the solution! One thing you said really stands out, really stuck with me: “[Pornography is] so silent, so secretive, so prevalent, and so normalized, that whole cocktail of things is a reason why we don’t see it as damaging an issue.” THIS IS BRILLIANT, SO TRUE. This is one of the most wonderful things that YOU GUYS, FTND, are doing that is changing the situation, namely: YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT IT. You’re inviting others to talk about it. You’re bringing it out into the open. Not to judge and shame, but to say: “Hey, it’s ok… we can talk about this!” I believe very firmly that eventually, slowly, gradually, this will catch on. BUT YOU GUYS ARE LEADING THE WAY, GREAT JOB! LOVE and COMPASSION to you all!

I’ve been following FTND for many years now, and I agree that just the posts alone don’t stop the addiction in addicts. But they can help be the beginning for change for an addict, and they especially can potentially prevent someone from becoming an addict in the first place. As someone (female) who was unknowingly addicted to it at age 11, I didnt learn until I was 27 that I was addicted. That’s when I stumbled upon FTND and was educated on my physical and mental symptoms and that porn is linked to human trafficking . I’ve been clean ever since, almost 12 years later. And some symptoms still linger, but I know they will fade with time. And I do my part by sharing information like this to others, to bring awareness and compassion, and educate my own children in age appropriate ways to protect their minds, hearts, and those of others by avoiding such images and videos.

Great episode! I feel that I was so naive to think that webcam girls are doing this willingly. This industry is so brutal and destructive to everyone, including the performer, the watcher and their friends and family.

Super thankful to find you guys during recovery. 15 days so far and I feel like I have an entirely new mindset. I’m more calm, focused, clear, and confident than even before. It’s the wildest thing: I could probably count on one hand the amount of times I even got 15 days porn-free in over 13 years. This time it’s for good and I’m not looking back. I have new habits in place and am running straight through this thing!

Thank you for this well-crafted resource! I’m watching it with my teens now and I really appreciate this opportunity to share with them the dangers of pornography in an engaging way. We already talk about it, but it’s really nice to have another avenue to reinforce the concept.

Hello, Fight the New Drug. I’ve been following your page and content for a while now. I think your content is really great and has helped me learn more about my habit of compulsive behavior toward porn. Shame was really taking a big toll on my mental health, but after I got to hear what others have gone through and hearing they gained confidence over time, I’ve been really inspired. Thank you, and continue the great work.
