Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Y’all give me hope for my brothers and sisters who are struggling. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Thank you! At the beginning of this year, I caught my husband looking at porn. He was exposed to it at a young age and addicted the majority of his life. It was probably one of the most painful experiences I’ve gone through. Now he’s been openly sharing with others his story, has been free of porn, has an accountability group, and he is just is able to enjoy a life without porn’s hold on him. It’s been so difficult to go through this, but we’re fighting! Thank you for your encouragement in a world that normalizes porn.

Just wanted to say thanks for what you guys do! My husband quit porn 17 months ago and hasn’t gone back since. We really love your page. We got married when I was 19 and he was 23, and he lied about his addiction for a year during our 3 years of marriage. But now he’s free from it, and is happier than ever and makes great choices and our relationship is so much better even though it has been tough. The honesty that has come from it has been amazing. Keep doing what you’re doing!!

Porn is not a joke. It’s not just something that “everyone does.” This stuff is seriously like a drug and does ruin your life. I’m so happy Fight the New Drug brings attention to the facts of it all, and how many people it has now helped.

Porn is degradation. Porn enslaves. Porn harms individuals, families, relationships, and society. I want better for our world and the people in it, and FTND helps make the world a better place in that sense. That’s my motivation!

Sported my Fight the New Drug sticker on my luggage and the guy behind me acknowledged that it saved him from an addiction to porn!

Since we are going through this pandemic, I’m trying my best not to watch porn! Been keeping myself busy around the house! Keep up the good work, Fight the New Drug! Y’all have really been helpful during my journey.

Thank you for everything you do to raise awareness about this. As a previous porn addict myself, it grieves me to see how much porn is taking over the minds of people in the world today. Even though it’s been a few years since I stopped watching porn, I can still feel the damage from it today. Every day. So, thank you for fighting against the new drug.

Hi. I just wanted to say thank you for all you’re doing to shed light on this awful, addictive drug. Personally, I have suffered with porn addiction since I was 7. I caught my brother watching an inappropriate movie and it sparked my innocent curiosity. It has gotten worse since then, but I’ve had the courage to talk to my husband about it and it feels good to know that he loves me and wants to help me overcome this addiction. It has affected my life for way too many years, and I’m sick of it! I’m taking a stand to stop and get in control of my life. I’ve been trying so hard to resist. The last time I slipped up, it made my anxiety so bad. I’ve noticed when I have watched porn, my anxiety is out of control. And when I don’t watch porn, I start feeling like myself, and my anxiety isn’t nearly as bad or frequent. Thank you again for all you’re doing!

I just want to express how much I appreciate Fight the New Drug. It has been empowering for my family! My husband has been free from porn/sexual addiction for over 2 years now, and I truly believe we could not have embraced it together without your platform. There was a time when I thought ending our marriage was the only option, but then I realized we could overcome it and so much more if we worked together, and now we’re hoping to start a family. I’m so grateful for your organization and everything it has taught us.
