My husband has been on the road to recovery for 5 years. Watching him grow into the man he is without porn has been a beautiful transformation–not easy, but SO worth it. His addiction started when he was 5. With a rough childhood, porn made him feel safe and loved when he felt anxious or upset. Those were false perceptions, which he learned as he grew and saw porn’s damage.
He told me about his addiction in 2017. At first, I didn’t know how to support him and had to work through my own emotions. But the past year has been the best year of our relationship. Even though he is still recovering, I’m so proud of how far he’s come and his choice to be on this journey. No one truly understands the depths of the addiction and how it can ruin every aspect of your life. My husband has always been an amazing man. I am overjoyed to watch him live in freedom and confidence. He is an amazing husband, father, and friend.

Wow, this docuseries was truly awakening. I’ve tried and tried many times to quit porn, and after relapsing a couple of days ago, this was the motivation that I needed. I accept that what triggers me won’t go away, things won’t change straight away and there’s still the possibility of relapsing again; I have to be aware of that. But when one sees clearly that things do get better and the clouds do part eventually, it’s very motivating to know that there’s more to life than this. Beyond pornography is a better, more rewarding, and more fulfilling life. Thank you for making this documentary. I will work even harder to kick this out of my life!
I am constantly impressed with your articles. The research is great and they are balanced well with their choice of words. I feel people who need to hear this would more likely listen because of the way they are written. They do not attack the consumer so much as they point out how the industry is using them.
We’re usually not ones to spend big amounts of money on clothes, but since my husband is an ex-porn addict, and we are incredibly passionate about this topic we had to make room in our small budget to take this opportunity. We will wear these shirts as often as we can to spark conversation. 100% worth it.
The other day, I brought up porn at my work with several coworkers who I’m pretty close to. I was nervous that they’d fight with me about it or I’d get very negative responses for saying how much I hated porn and everything it does/stands for/etc., but to my surprise and delight (and relief), every single one of my co-workers agreed with me and we were all able to have a great conversation about the dangers and harmfulness of porn. I’m so encouraged to see other people my age who are aware of how toxic it is and willing to fight against it. I’m so thankful for this page and all you guys do, and especially all the information you provided. Thank you so much!

I’ve read books on porn addiction, but most people will never pick up one book let alone read it in their lifetime about this issue. These videos will reach so many more people! I’ve never watched porn, but I’ve been in a relationship with a guy who did, and it came through in the way he treated me, and as a result, it has deeply impacted my sexuality negatively. Almost every guy I know watches it and that can get pretty discouraging. Your website has been a light in the darkness, a sign that people are fighting porn, a sign that I’m not alone. My husband told me he was an addict, and I became aware of the harms of porn from that. When I found your site, it helped me understand more and more about these harms and it motivated me to become a Fighter myself. I always wanted to be a teacher, but I now know that I want to be a health teacher to help inform young students and their parents about the harms of pornography.
