Impact

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!

Thank you so very much for your podcast and the way you and your guests talk so frankly about their journeys with pornography. My husband has been living porn-free for the past year but struggled to get free for eight months before that. I spoke about our journey at a community event recently and used much of the information that I learned from FTND and from listening to your podcast. I know that pornography is hurting so many families. I really appreciate what you all are doing to help people know the truth. It is helping me to heal from the betrayal trauma. I know it is helping many who have been hurt in a variety of ways.

Excellent material! Our whole family benefitted from watching the documentary series. We appreciated the definition of love as “focus.” The men, women, and families who were willing to share their stories made the film relevant and believable. Thanks to all those who were willing to be interviewed and share their expert knowledge.

One of your articles really helped me just now. I realized I spent a lot of time using porn last year because I was sad, hurt, stressed, and alone. Thanks to whomever wrote that article.

Just wanted to say thanks for what you guys do! My husband quit porn 17 months ago and hasn’t gone back since. We really love your page. We got married when I was 19 and he was 23, and he lied about his addiction for a year during our 3 years of marriage. But now he’s free from it, and is happier than ever and makes great choices and our relationship is so much better even though it has been tough. The honesty that has come from it has been amazing. Keep doing what you’re doing!!

I’m currently struggling with porn addiction. Watching Brain, Heart, World has taught me a lot about myself. I wish this information was widespread and taught to everyone, I never realized how dangerous porn is. Thank you for all the people doing the research and for the people who made this docuseries.

Your organization has helped me so much on my journey to remove porn from my life. Thank you so much!

The documentary was captivating. I enjoyed how it not only gave scientific data on the harmful effects of pornography but also ended with hope for those entrenched in this epidemic.

My boyfriend has struggled with porn for the majority of his life. He’s stayed clean ever since we’ve been dating, but sometimes his irrational expectations of intimacy have bothered me. I now understand from this documentary where that comes from. His reward system is trying to get what it needs in other areas. I’m so grateful for these episodes so that I can understand him better and that we can talk about how it has affected his brain. Thank you!

Thank you FTND and Mariah for delivering your edifying story, that we may protect our daughters and sisters in the world in the future to come.

I found FTND while in college, watched all your videos on the negative effects of porn, and made a promise to myself to not watch porn again to protect my brain, and heart.

Hi there,

A fighter here reaching out to say thank you. I had a lapse over the weekend, and I went on your Twitter page and read the article you posted, “How You Can Confront Setbacks While Quitting Porn” by Jacob Hess and it was a Godsend. Just the message I needed to hear exactly when I needed to hear it.

So much of the article resonated with me and most importantly it gave me strength and hope and reminded me that I can do this. This line in particular really inspired me: “Begin again, for as many times as it takes.” This is not my first lapse as I’ve struggled with porn over so many years. What is different now is that I’m not alone thanks to the great work of Fight the New Drug.

Thanks to you, instead of sulking in shame and berating myself, I’ve dusted myself off and will keep on fighting. Words will never be enough to express my gratitude to you all and as such I’ve made a contribution in addition to my monthly donations because I’m so grateful.

I’m looking forward to your webinar next month. Thank you, thank you, I’m so grateful for Fight The New Drug!

Warmly,
A Fighter Who Will Keep Fighting
