Meet Daniel, a Southern California native who is an advocate against shame and who started his fight against porn as a way to fight human trafficking.
In this video, Daniel tells the story of his first exposure to porn when group of friends showed him on his birthday in 6th grade, and how watching it soon became a habit.
By college, however, Daniel knew it was time to stop watching porn when it negatively impacted him in significant ways. Reaching out to friends about his struggle and learning how shame can cripple recovery were helpful steps in his battle to live a healthier life.
Hear Daniel talk about the connection between porn and trafficking, and explain how when the stigma and shame of porn is taken away, it can become much easier to combat.
