A COLLECTION OF GRATITUDE & IMPACT CURATED BY FIGHT THE NEW DRUG
Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!
I literally love Fight the New Drug!! It honestly inspires me so much and helps me help others because it really keeps things real. I can now have real conversations with loved ones about this topic and really help them consider before consuming.
* The teenagers laughed and learned a lot at the same time while watching the docuseries. What a great resource to have educational videos. It’s well done and honest. There is plenty we don’t know, but there is plenty of research to back up the anecdotal evidence too. Great nonprofit, Fight the New Drug, so thanks for producing Brain Heart World!
Such an amazing group of people that put these podcasts together to fight against something worth fighting against! Happy to be a part of the movement!
Porn is degradation. Porn enslaves. Porn harms individuals, families, relationships, and society. I want better for our world and the people in it, and FTND helps make the world a better place in that sense. That’s my motivation!
“The Brain” was amazing! The studies made so much sense and I can really understand the negative effects of porn and how it changes the brain. This was very informative.
I remember crying and trying to find a way to tell my parents. I was so worried about how they would react. After five minutes of sobbing in front of them, I said the words out loud that I vowed I would never say: “Mom, Dad, I’m addicted to pornography and I need your help.” The first thing my mother said was, “I am so proud of you.” The first thing my dad said was, “I have 35 years of experience with this, and I am ready to help. We can do this together. I love you.” There is nothing I believe in more than cultivating trusting relationships so that you have people to fall back on who love you perfectly and will help you always.
Being a wife and choosing to fight alongside my husband, who’s celebrating 895 days in recovery, has been the hardest and most rewarding experience of our lives! Through this journey, we’ve celebrated and fought together as accountability partners, best friends, lovers, husband and wife, and now future parents!
We’ve learned so much. First, love can’t be clicked! It’s about real people, real love, and life! It’s about the journey and that we’re stronger fighting together! Also, it’s never going to be easy every day, it might not always be a victory–we are not perfect, and life isn’t perfect. It’s messy but it’s beautiful and it’s so worth it to fight! Consistency, accountability, and knowledge are some huge factors that helped his success along the way. Honestly, we wouldn’t be celebrating here today if it wasn’t for Fight the New Drug. Thank you, thank you, thank you for existing!
This was amazing. It definitely helps show that anyone struggling is not alone. I think it’s cool that it focused on real people’s stories, and it’s awesome that people are trying to spread the word that porn is a problem. It has been in my life, and I’m grateful for everyone who has helped me on the journey of stopping. Thank you for the great docuseries.
Sex is such a beautiful thing, and to just see it commodified and turned into something that can be bought and sold just breaks my heart. I’m glad to be free from that addiction. #PornKillsLove
You are a lifeline. Wearing your tee shirts gives me a sense of empowerment to continue being victorious over the addiction to porn. I kind of feel like an ambassador. Cannot accurately express the gratitude that fills my heart for you. Thank you! #StopTheDemand
FTND does AMAZING things! Keep it up!
Thank you so much for all that you do to educate the public on porn's harms! I've stopped watching porn, and it's still a struggle at times, so I greatly appreciate your content; you motivate me to keep going! Thank you for being there! Definitely won't be my last donation.
Hey y'all! I just wanted to shoot a message to say thank you for everything you do to educate the world about the harmful effects of pornography. I became addicted to pornography when I was 11 and still struggle to this day. I don’t actively consume anymore due to everything I now know, but I still have a hard time with the things I've seen. I also appreciate the lack of religious bias when discussing facts with other people. When I start to talk about the harms and lasting effects of porn, people usually just brush what I have to say right off because they assume porn isn’t really harmful, but with the articles you put out, I'm able to provide facts to others. Thank you again for everything this organization does and will continue to do.
