Understanding how pornography affects the brain is really something I needed to know about. It’s something I wish I knew before.

Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!
I felt that I was very deeply connected to those people in the video because I noticed the shared hardship between them and me. I did reach a breaking point. I did relapse. I did feel ashamed. I have wished that I never discovered what I’ve discovered. Knowing that recovery is tangible inspires me on so many levels. Thanks to everyone who helped produce this episode. I truly mean that.
Hello, Fight the New Drug. I’ve been following your page and content for a while now. I think your content is really great and has helped me learn more about my habit of compulsive behavior toward porn. Shame was really taking a big toll on my mental health, but after I got to hear what others have gone through and hearing they gained confidence over time, I’ve been really inspired. Thank you, and continue the great work.
Hello, I am grateful for the day I found your page. I have been addicted to pornography for years, and it’s been a struggle. Most times, I felt helpless. I came across your page and everything was useful and informative, but I kept on indulging in my old habit. It was really a struggle but I didn’t give up! For the first time in more than 10 years, I have gone three months without porn. I’m approaching my fourth month. It might be such a short time but I never believed I could not watch for this long. I have found myself. I do not intend to go back there again. The thought of porn is not even appealing to me right now. Thank you so much for all you do.
Thank you for all that you do. FTND never ceases to amaze me with the bold people who share their stories, informative fact-based articles, and forward movement toward a very important cause. Your article about Hollywood celebrities created a few heroes of mine. For big-name icons to be speaking out about this is bigger than just about anything I’ve ever seen. I genuinely appreciate all that FTND does.
I found Fight the New Drug not long after my relationship ended, and while the path has had some speed bumps, I feel so much more free. I feel so much more clear. I feel more whole as a person. I have obtained a clarity when it comes to proper, healthy goals in seeking a lasting, loving relationship. Whenever I rock a FTND t-shirt, it’s always a conversation starter—and frankly, it’s a conversation that should be happening more often in today’s society, and it’s a conversation I’m proud to launch in my community.
