A COLLECTION OF GRATITUDE & IMPACT CURATED BY FIGHT THE NEW DRUG
Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!
“The Brain” was amazing! The studies made so much sense and I can really understand the negative effects of porn and how it changes the brain. This was very informative.
Very good docuseries for young teenagers. I have looked for a long time to find something appropriate to talk through porn with my son, but most content was directed at parents. This was perfect: engaging, and truthful without being overbearing and condescending. Thank you!
Excellent! It makes me understand pornography more deeply and more seriously. I remember when I first watched pornography, I always thought that porn stars were enjoying themselves in the scenes and they were just unbelievably good at sex. But all these things are not realistic in a real relationship. Viewing porn may be a pleasure for some people, but for the performers, it's often humiliating and nightmarish. This changed my opinion about pornography.
I think the documentary was honest and objective, and it gave a foundation upon which a person struggling with porn addiction can build. Thank you.
Happy National Nonprofit Day! I recently read an article of yours that really made me feel appreciated as a donor so in addition to being a Fighter, I decided to make an additional donation. I've relapsed recently, the shame from which made me distance myself from your wonderful work, so this donation also serves as a sign of my re-commitment to continue fighting! Thank you for your help, I would be lost without your resources. You give me much hope.
It’s information that I’ve seen many times before, but the way it is presented here is much more human. I like the hopeful message of Brain, Heart World, and I am extremely glad that you are helping propagate this information. People really need to hear it. I need to hear it. I am trying to free myself, and it is so easy to lie to myself to justify it. Knowledge is the power people need to overcome this. Thank you for providing that knowledge.
* The teenagers laughed and learned a lot at the same time while watching the docuseries. What a great resource to have educational videos. It’s well done and honest. There is plenty we don’t know, but there is plenty of research to back up the anecdotal evidence too. Great nonprofit, Fight the New Drug, so thanks for producing Brain Heart World!
Thank you so much for continuing to fight the good fight! I look forward to seeing all your creative projects to get the message out!
Your articles and documentary have helped me so much with my fight. I’m very fortunate to have you guys work so hard every day to help me. So, thanks for everything you’ve done for me and for people around the world.
As someone who’s struggled with porn addiction and found myself looking for more and more intense porn over time, this is a great reminder of its harmful effects. There is a lot to learn here, and it can be hard to listen to sometimes, but it’s important to get some of the heartbreaking perspective. Thank you for doing this podcast.
As a former porn addict, I am very grateful that this kind of information is getting out there. It helps strengthen my resolve not to regress back into those old habits. This addiction can feed human trafficking along with perpetuating the objectification of my own gender. Can’t thank you enough for your work on this front. Only wish you’d have been around when I was a teen.
As someone dealing with betrayal trauma and healing in my marriage to someone who was addicted to porn, this documentarty is spot on.
Thank you for all of the regular reminders of the toxicity of porn. It’s helpful to remind us all of why we should stay away, no matter the urge, especially during the time of confinement in the pandemic for so many of us.
Thank you! My boyfriend was able to find all the resources and help he needed to effectively combat his addiction through FTND, so we’re very grateful for the work you do!
Thank you so much for this account. A lot of your posts have helped me on my way to developing a healthy relationship with sex.
