A COLLECTION OF GRATITUDE & IMPACT CURATED BY FIGHT THE NEW DRUG
Since 2009, we've given visibility to research and personal accounts demonstrating how pornography can negatively impact individuals, relationships, and society. Through this grassroots movement, millions of people have found hope and freedom. We couldn't do this without Fighters like you!
I really appreciate all that you stand for! There are millions of kids and teenagers that need to hear the message you spread!
As someone who has suffered from pornography addiction, I was instantly in support when I found FTND on Instagram. Your page gives a voice to the unspoken narrative that affects millions so strongly. That led me to discover this podcast which dives into detail of how consuming pornography derails your life and relationships in a multifaceted way. This podcast gives me hope for the future as you continue to reach others and change lives. Thank you for being the voice.
Hi! After coming across your page and my boyfriend having erectile dysfunction (at 23!), we had a talk last summer about porn! He’s said he can see sexual dysfunction being a side effect and didn’t know porn could cause these things. He’s been laying off and things have improved so so much. The discussion guide really helped! So, thank you!
I wanted to send a quick message just to thank y'all for all you do. I am a high school teacher and this is the second year I have assigned your Brain, Heart, World documentary to my students. They really enjoyed it and learned a lot. One of my students told me today how passionate she has now become about this issue and has started having conversations with her own family and friends about it. Definitely some new Fighters out there for sure! So from one Fighter to another, thank you for the work you do. Know that it definitely does make a difference and you are definitely accomplishing your mission to educate about the harmful effects of pornography to the world! Thank you again.
I am currently battling this addiction and I struggle to find the words to express my gratitude to everyone who made this documentary, and to everyone who made it available.
I just wanted to say thank you for all the information that this organization is doing against the fight against pornography. I've been a porn addict since the age of 9, and am now truly fighting against my addiction 20 years later, through therapy and coaching. Thank you for bringing the awareness of how harmful pornography can be and the dangers of it all. I wish I had this when I was younger before I got engulfed through my addiction.
I’m fairly choosy with my time, and there are countless podcasts out there. I’ve been following FTND for a while now, first on Instagram and then through the website. When I found out you had a podcast, I had to check it out. If you’re looking for information, it’s here. If you want powerful true stories, they’re here. If you just need a little bit of encouragement to get through the day, it’s here. ‘Consider before Consuming’ is a podcast true to its vision—to fight for love and equip others with the tools they need to do just that. Don’t put this off. Give it a listen right now.
I have now been porn-free for over a year and a half and I feel I have a genuine freedom from this addiction. I no longer feel like I'm a victim of a porn addiction and your program and being accountable to some other guys in my community were exactly what I needed to fight and overcome porn addiction.
I’ve been donating to this cause for a year and a half now. My boyfriend of only a month opened up to me and told me that he used to have a pornography addiction but has been clean for over a year. This cause means even more to me now, knowing that someone I love has been affected by it and has been overcoming it. Thank you for all that you do!
FTND was a huge help as I was healing from a breakup with a self-professed porn addict. Your resources helped me to understand what porn was doing to him and to our relationship. My self-esteem suffered greatly while I was with him and after we broke up. But it has since recovered leaps and bounds thanks in large part to FTND. Thanks for doing what you’re doing.
Thank you for your time of producing something so informative! I wish this kind of media would have been around when I was exposed at 11 years old.
This documentary is so well done. Thank you for all that you are doing. I pledge to do my small part to spread this message in my sex-positive community.
As a teen, I watched porn all the way until I became pregnant with my first kid. My mother raised us to be aware of addiction and how it sneaks up on you and takes over your life. I knew there was something wrong with the fact that I always resorted back to watching porn. The fact that I couldn’t stop permanently wasn’t “normal,” so I went searching for research on the subject. That’s when I stumbled upon this huge movement called Fight the New Drug.
Once I read the stats on how people are sex trafficked for porn, and how porn is impacting our culture and love, I was devastated that I had been supporting. It pushed me to learn more, and that’s when I learned how porn affects our brains and pulls us into the addiction. I made it my mission to never let my porn addiction affect me again and to reach out to as many people as possible to educate and help others with their addiction to porn. I can PROUDLY say I have not watched porn in two years!! I am proud to be porn-free!
