Hi there! I only recently came across your site and Twitter. I know it sounds incredibly silly, but I didn’t even consider that I may have a porn compulsion because I didn’t watch it every day or week or on a regular basis, but just sometimes when I felt like it. Now that I’ve tried to stop, I seem to be going through a rough patch of really wanting to watch it the past few days, and I keep thinking, “Eh, what’s just a bit of it?” but your tweets keep me going! They remind me it’s possible to stop completely and that it’s important for so many reasons to keep fighting. So, thank you so much. I’m so grateful when I see you on my timeline, not just for myself, but for everyone struggling.

I wanted to thank you for what you’re doing—educating people on the harms of pornography. My ex-husband’s pornography addiction led him down a slippery slope ultimately ending our 12.5 year marriage and destroying our beautiful family (we have two amazing sons who were 9 & 5 at the time). People take it lightly and brush it off, but it really does kill love. More people need to know, so thank you.

For the first time in my life I am FINALLY breaking through my porn addiction. My eyes are finally opened wide to the fact that pornography is one big lie and society is deceived by it. I’m only 3 days clean and I’m already feeling the benefits. So much more energy and so much happier and content. Porn isn’t worth it. I can’t believe all the time and energy I wasted.

I’m currently struggling with porn addiction. Watching Brain, Heart, World has taught me a lot about myself. I wish this information was widespread and taught to everyone, I never realized how dangerous porn is. Thank you for all the people doing the research and for the people who made this docuseries.

I love this website and all the products that you have to be light in such a destructive part of everyday life. I am a recovering sex/porn addict and I have been working on my sobriety for over 5 years now. Though there have been some bumps in the road, I have maintained sobriety now for 11 months. I am proud, but I couldn’t do it without the help of loved ones and websites like yours that give information like this. It truly helps to know that there are individuals out there working hard day after day to to combat this treacherous disease called pornography. In my journey, I’ve gained information and grown knowledgeable. Also, Ive become fierce, not holding anything back when it comes to letting people know the effects that pornography has, not only on ourselves, but our children, spouses, co-workers, parents, even those behind the screen. I’ve become bold, standing up for what is right.

I’ve watched this documentary twice, once on my own and then with my fiancé, as he would always dismiss my views and alienate me for not accepting his use of porn. After he watched the first part, he asked me if there was more to watch, and he watched the rest saying that it was a real eye-opener and that when our children are old enough, we will watch the documentary with them.
