Mission:

Fight the New Drug (FTND) is a non-religious and non-legislative nonprofit that exists to provide individuals the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding pornography by raising awareness on its harmful effects using only science, facts, and personal accounts.

Vision:

We aim to decrease the demand for sexual exploitation through education while helping individuals live empowered lives free from the harmful effects of pornography.

Our Story

Decades of studies from respected institutions have demonstrated significant impacts of porn consumption on individuals, relationships, and society. As porn becomes increasingly normalized, education on its well-documented harms becomes increasingly important.

This grassroots movement was founded in 2009 by four passionate college students ready to change the conversation about pornography.

As an organization, we do not associate with any faith or belief system, nor do we discuss porn and sexual exploitation from a religious or moral perspective.

No. We’re pro-healthy sexuality, which is why we bring awareness to research and personal accounts showing how porn can harm consumer’s sex lives.

“Is Fight the New Drug (FTND) trying to ban porn?”

No. We do not have a legislative agenda, and recognize that adults have a right to consensually consume legal forms of pornography. We educate about how pornography can impact indivdiduals, relationships, and society so people can make an informed decision.
